By Sea

Enter between the lighthouses on the headlands of West Chop and East Chop. The harbor mouth is more than a mile wide at its outermost extremity, narrowing gradually upon approaching the inner harbor breakwater and the ferry wharf at harbor's head.

Buoyage on entry is gauged to deep draft vessels: however due respect must be paid to the rocky ledges along the eastern shore of West Chop, beginning at Allegheny Rock (marked by Can "25") and west of Nun "4".

By Air

There are various year-round scheduled services to the Martha's Vineyard Airport from Boston, Hyannis, Nantucket, New Bedford, and Providence. The airport has facilities for private planes and charter services also are available. M.V. Airport is located in the center of the Island. Please work with our concierge to arrange for transportation from the airport.
